SACJ Essay Writing Competition 2025
The Society for Advancement of Criminal Justice (SACJ) is pleased to announce the annual Essay Writing Competition, its flagship initiative aimed at promoting scholarly engagement with contemporary issues in criminal law. The competition is open to law students and researchers across India and seeks to encourage critical analysis, informed debate, and original contributions to the discipline.

For the 2025 edition, participants are invited to submit essays on any of the following themes:

Women-centric laws: A Modern Tool for Gender Injustice?

The New Criminal Laws: Navigating the Modern Lanes of Organised Crime
​
Eligibility: Students/Research Scholars enrolled in any UG/PG/PhD course in any Indian University.
Word Limit: 3000 words
Last date of registration: 5th October, 2025
Last date of submissions: 20th October, 2025
Announcement of Results: 15th November, 2025
Registration Fees: Single Authorship - ₹300, Co-Authorship (up to 2 authors) - ₹500
